"Really lovely help from Gisli. The most comfortable bed i slept in, in all of Iceland. Really lovely place."

"FE Gisting is a beautiful old villa up the hill just off of central Akureyri. The room is full of vintage furniture (apart from the huge TV) and the free parking nearby made our stay nearly perfect. The city center is in walking distance, although a bit downhill. We enjoyed a fairly big room and the free coffee."

"The location is amazing. The rooms are nice and the bed comfortable. Overall it's a nice place to stay for 2 nights and easy access to the center, swimming pool and gym just across the street.."

"Honestly, this place blew my mind. I didn't rent a room here, I rented a freaking suite! It was ginourmous! The only place during my trip around Iceland that had a private bathroom. And it was actually a relatively cheap place, compared with other places I rented. Jesus, I felt like I was some kind of burguoisie lord."

"The place didn't had a kitchen that I could use. It still didn't matter for me and I would definetely return, because the house is just so cool nevertheless."

"The self-check-in option, the jacuzzi bath, everything was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, free parking nearby, and the possibility to make coffee."

"Our apartment had everything we needed and more. Great location, magnificent view of the harbour, warm and cosy, very comfortable bed and quilt. Very quiet day and night. Great well supplied kitchen with new appliances. We would absolutely recommend staying at Bjarg Apartments"

"Self check in went well with the key box. Surprised there were so many stairs - I think this building used to be a bank. We had to go down stairs and then up 2 flights so not very convenient. Enjoyed the balcony. We sat out and enjoyed the view of the water with a glass of wine. There was a nice restaurant down the street Randolf's Sea House. Very quiet place to stay so we slept well."

"We absolutely loved our here ! Amazing location with lovely views from each window. Even though the apartment was attached to the main house- it was still completely private. The neighbour was extremely friendly & helpful as was the owner with any queries we had. The apartment is renovated, beds extremely comfortable as is the whole apartment. Previous comments by others mentioned the water being smelly however we did not find this. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Iceland."

"Alt var rent og pænt . Gode køkken forhold . Fint værelse med gode senge . Hot spring oppe på bakken , vandet er ca 80 grader varmt. Hyggelig lille gå tur hvis man vil se det ."
