"The location of the cottage was perfect, about a 90 minute drive from Reykjavik and nicely situated for activities such as geysers, waterfalls and seeing the northern lights. The cottage was clean and very warm, especially as we were there during a week of as low as -13. It was also great having a full kitchen, tv, outdoor grill and hot tub."

"Nothing we didn't like, it was perfect for what we wanted and location was fantastic. I think the only suggestion would be the signs to the cottages. We arrived late at night during a blizzard, and while we had directions to take the second left after the red gate, at night the second left looked like one of the cottages' drives so we avoided it first. If there was a sign showing that turn was for the other cottages, it would be great for night time."

"Absolutely great! Nice place -- even close to Geysir, quiet cottage, away from the road. Enough space around the cottage to feel great. The interior furnishings completely suitable even for a longer stay, simply -- everything you need. All clean and ready to use. Equipped and sufficiently furnished kitchen part. Jacuzzi on terrace (unfortunately we did not use it due to early departures and late arrivals, but next time...). Great communication with owners (late arrival due to two times(!) cancelled flight). I hope to stay here again in the future. :)"

"It was clean, comfortable, cosy. Just amazing! The hot tub was clean and ready to use when we arrived. The location for the golden circle attraction is great."

"Beautiful central location for the golden circle activities around. There are 5 cottages around, which are well spaced out for privacy, but we were the only guests, which was a bit of a shame for my son, but is part of travelling in February. The house is very complete, well equipped kitchen and the jacuzzi with the Northern Lights overhead is unforgetable."

"We arrived when the ground was frozen with deep tracks from previous cars, but later on the temperature rose and the road became quite swampy, also around the parking area. Putting a more permanent paving in the parking area would be helpful. Otherwise parking is quite easy, though it is a pain to keep opening and closing the gate constantly. There was some damage on the outside which was quite noisy in the wind and the banister of the decking is fairly unstable (I found this out when I tried to fix the broken panel under the roof). Despite all this, I would highly recommend this and would certainly consider booking here again if we ever return to Iceland."
