"The accommodation at Dalvík Vegamot Cottages was very pleasant. Communication with the owner was great — he was very kind and helpful. We arrived later in the evening, and late check-in was not a problem after prior arrangement. When we arrived, a heated hot tub and a pre-warmed sauna were waiting for us. The cottage itself does not have a shower, but the owner gave us access to one in the old “Farmers House,” about 10 meters away. Overall, I can highly recommend it."
"One thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is located right next to the main road, opposite the Olís gas station and close to a football field, so it can be a bit noisy at times."
"We stayed for four night and really enjoyed our time at Dalvik and the comfortable Cabin. We used the jacuzzi and saw northern lights from there. The host (Bjarni) is a very welcoming person and told us al kinds of interesting things about Dalvik and surroundings."

"Nice cosy little cottages with all you require in the center of Dalvík. Value for money. Very pleasant host(Bjarni). Gave us briefing of the area and Iceland in general. Very informative. Everything within walking distance (supermarket, coffee shop, gas station, port from were the boat goes for whale watching etc"

"The host is very nice and friendly, he welcome us at the cottages even we arrive quite late, the cottage is small with basic cooker to prepare very simple food, but have no shower inside, the host is so nice and show me around his coffee shop and theater on the second floor, very old fashsion and loverly."

"We visited Dalvík for Erasmus project in March 2025 and the cottages were stunning. Absolutely wonderful Bjarni who welcomed us with such an enthusiasm and positive energy. Clean and quiet place with magical view on the sea and mountains. Recommended!"

"Loved the view and the big bed was amazing. Everything you need in the kitchen. And I was warmly welcomed with a piece of very delicious cake. I arrived in very bad weather and they helped me with my suitcases out of the car and up the stairs. That was very nice after a long day of traveling. Loved my stay at Narfakot ❤️ Takk Fyrir"
