"Amazing hotel and lovely, friendly staff who will do anything to help you. Lovely accommodation, and we got great advice about the aurora and what to see nearby (including whales and orcas just off the coast). Tasty food in the restaurant, and a nice vibe looking out of the windows. Don’t miss Arnarstapi harbour which really lived up to its billing as the most beautiful in the world! Thank you!"

"Clean, Good size. TV did not work. Reading about others its the same story. Yes, you dont need a TV on a vac, however, if its raining and super windy its a good feature. Good idea to fix these things. As for having hot water for 20 min ( due to heating capacity) we had no issue. The water was very hot and we managed the restriction."

"We enjoyed a family "cottage", which offered us a very pleasant stay. The hotel is located meters away from the sea, and sightseeing places. The evening walk was very pleasant!"

"Good sized room with comfy beds & pillows. View of the mountain & to hear & see the birds flying outside."
"Hot water was barely luke warm . We were advised that this was a cold part of Iceland & that the HW was only sufficient to last 20 mins before needing time to re-heat, but it wasn't at hot at all. Warm enough to have a very quick shower, but no risk of it being anywhere near 20 mins, or even 5!"

"Absolutely stunning location, surrounded by mountains and the ocean. Great location to explore remote areas of Iceland. Amazing spot to observe Aurora and superb spot to detach from a buzy city life (i.e. London ). The stuff is amazing and very friendly. Breakfast, however not included, was yummy!"
