"This resort is a gem hidden in the hillside cardamom plantations just above Bison Valley. The resort has everything you may need during a holiday, so you may stay onsite for days if you want. The staff offer several onsite and offsite activities you can choose from (hikes, tea tasting, yoga, etc.). All of these were good experiences for us. They helped us arrange taxi rides to Munnar and Chokramudi (the latter is a must-see if you’re in the neighbourhood). Overall, the staff were extremely helpful and kind, they provided an optimal service where we felt pampered but never intruded."
"The tap water was a bit yellowish, so it didn’t look best in the jacuzzi. Also, it was a pity that cooking classes and some food items from the menu were not available due to the natural gas shortage."
"Beautiful rooms, with all facilities to a very high standard. A glorious view . A really peaceful and well hidden location in the hills. Amazingly attentive and helpful staff. Great food ( genuinely the best we have yet tasted, three weeks into our month long road trip) . It's a special place. With free biscuits made on site !!!"
"Not really a dislike but... It's a serious hike to get there. Very narrow and windy roads. The property is also on a steep hillside. Not good for those who may have mobility issues."

"I had an amazing stay at the SpiceTree. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, paying close attention to every need and detail. The grounds were beautiful and tucked into gorgeous mountains and spice plantation. You have everything you need there with many activities like hikes, spa, tea tasting and cooking lessons. I absolutely loved this place and hope to come back some day! Highly recommended!!!"

"Sehr leckeres und umfangreiches Buffet zum Frühstück und auch zum Abendessen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und haben einen Aussenpool, sind aber klimatisiert. Der Service des Hotels inkl. Reception ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, auch bei individuellen Aktivitäten. Es gibt viele gratis-Aktivitäten, die vom Hotel organisiert werden."
