"From the moment you step inside the grounds of Slieve Aughty Centre a sense of calm takes over. So much thought and effort has gone into making this place a truly peaceful, calming space to unwind as a family."

"I loved everything about the accommodation, as it brought us into the realm of fairytale. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was full character inside and outside. We celebrated our birthdays and felt like we could truly take a proper break from our rushed daily lives in very charming surroundings. For us it was better than expected. Booking.com photos dont do ot justice. We were even welcomed by two very friendly cats, which clearly enjoyed our company, and so did we theirs. Highly recommended. :)"

"It was a great experience, a very calm environment, a perfect place to unwind, relax surrounded by nature. Good food, cozy family bedroom. Great memories were created on our stay."
"Things like to have staff available more often at reception to assist with basics things, such as bin bags, clean bathroom mats, etc, would be a great improvement."
"Everything about this stay was perfect. It was a great quiet spot to rest and recharge. Lots of lovely walking routes from the centre and we could have our dog along to stay with us. Food and coffee on site were delicious and staff were all very friendly. Loughrea was a 10 minute drive away with more walks, shops and restaurants. Exactly the sort of trip that was needed and would not hesitate to return"

"It was a lovely spot with friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean, overlooking the breathtaking surroundings — a great place to take a break from crowded towns. We had a great time with delicious breakfast. Our daughter was delighted to be with horses."

"The location was the major draw for us. Very rural, secluded and peaceful, with great walking trails. Lots to see and do - and near our Irish family. Our room was very clean, and the bed linen smelled lovely :-))"
"The buffet breakfast wasn't to our usual taste - but we all found something to eat. The children especially liked the crepes. Super-fussy ones might struggle though."
