"Delicious breakfast included with plenty of gluten free, Mary and her staff were accommodating and lovely. Perfectly located. Big, quiet room. Wonderful all round."

"Central in the town and extremely spacious and comfortable room and bathroom which was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful also. The breakfast was extensive in choice and fresh, quality produce. Overall exceptional value for money and very comfortable stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay very central with parking our room was big and very clean,breakfast was fantastic lots to choose from also the staff were so kind. We will definitely book again when staying in kinsale. Highly recommend it."

"The owner was a lovely lady We stayed the mid Jan so it was not fully open so did not eat there .We were given a full suite it was huge everthing lovely and the lady said there was no rush checking out followng morning .v close to centre really enjoyed our stay will be back."

"Spacious room and history of the lodge. Good location for exploring Kinsale."

"Slightly cold room due to the size. Also had the misfortune of being opposite a room in which persons returned in the early hours each night ignorant of the noise they were making whilst inebriated. Not much the lodge can do to control that but worth factoring in if booking a family room given the likelihood of fellow guests enjoying the splendour of Kinsale pubs / bars."

"Really homely house, owners couldnt of been nicer always available to tell us about the area and if anything unsure of in the house answered straight away. The pub being a two minute walk a great bonus. Very comfortable stay with a baby."

"Where to start - Kevin was a gem from start to finish, sorting out a group of excited hens with a shot at the bar downstairs (which was ideal as it quickly became the preferred pub of all those we visited). He was incredibly helpful & accommodating with our requests, going above & beyond to help out. The accommodation is super well equipped to handle a larger group in a really beautiful setting. The creaky steps up & bar brick walls offer a romantic & idyllic insight into Dublin’s past, while the bunk beds & large kitchen prove it’s versatility as a hosting space, allowing us to save some pennies by cooking in. The beds are comfortable & the bathrooms were clean & functional. The entire group individually mentioned wanting to book again if ever they return so it comes heartily recommended! & as head booker, I was incredibly relieved to have lucked out with this wonderful venue. Thanks again Kevin!"

"Eileen was lovely and even accepted that we leave our brand new mattress topper and pillows behind as we couldn't take it back on the plane with us. The kitchenette was good with everything you need to make meals. The heaters thankfully worked well once switched on, as it was absolutely freezing when we arrived (but Eileen did apologise, she wanted to switch them on before we arrived but unfortunately didn't arrive before our arrival in time to do so, no big problem for us, we sorted ourselves out). The apartment was clean ! And that is a very positive point for us !"
