"Caring, friendly hostess. Cathy does everything to make guests stay as comfortable as possible. Attention to details. Very cosy cottage, clean, comfortable, very quiet. The best breakfast in Ireland. Shops and restaurants are 15 min walk away. But the stroll is very agreable. Parking. Wifi. Lots of tips for tourists."

"Applecroft House is in a quiet neighbourhood. It felt very busy in Killarney so we were pleased to have a peaceful garden and room to come home to. It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of town and cost €9.50 for a taxi back to the B&B. Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel very much at home. Kathy gave us lots of tips for local attractions and went the extra mile for our son. It’s the smallest of personal touches that make the difference between a good and exceptional stay. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We particularly liked the Bircher muesli."

"It was one of the best places I have stayed in my whole life and I have travelled a lot. Kathy is absolutely lovely, excellent and her whole family gave us a warm welcome.
