"Billederne af resortet er taknemmelige. Vær opmærksom på om du bestiller budget eller deluxe double room! Bestiller du budget room skal du bo i en sidebygning. Det havde vi desværre ikke set, da vi bookede, men det er vores fejl, ikke hotellets. Det gjorde bare at vi blev lidt skuffede. Badeværelset i sidebygningen er ikke så tiltalende. Det er åbent, som så mange andre badeværelser på Bali. Baderummet er fugtigt, meget varmt og der lugter."

"Vi har boet på salt Resort & Spa i 2023 og pga af det skønne sted besluttede vi at komme igen i år. Hotellet ligger lige ud til vandet med sort strand. De har de skønneste medarbejdere, både dem i baren kan lige nævne Mega og de 3 kvinder i Spa Linda, Ayo og Risma som gav en skøn ansigtsbehandling den ene dag og en dybdegående massage et par dage efter. De har et godt menukort med dejligt velsmagende mad."

"Selve byen Amed er som andre byer på Bali, affald over alt, men hvis man giver sig tid til at gå ud af sidevejen så oplever man store områder med grønt så lange øjet rækker."

"Imødekommende, venligt og super personale. Maden var virkelig god og no one fik problemer med maven. Vi fik endda breakfast 06:00 AM da vi skulle tidligt afsted til Gili Air. Klart anbefalesværdigt."

"Fantastisk lille perle, hvor man får meget for pengene. Maden er lidt dyrere end på gaden, men det er kvaliteten også. Virkelig imødekommende og venligt personale, hvor særligt Gita i receptionen er dygtig til engelsk og meget hjælpsom. Lille supermarked 5-10 min gang derfra."

"It is a bit away from main attractions of Amed and there is no grabs etc and taxis are expensive. Would be easier if you hired scooters but we were a family and not comfortable to do this."

"My room was slightly removed from the hotel, this was a minor issue. However there was some considerable noise and music from next door in the evenings and this flowed straight in to my room."

"Cozy small hotel, our cottage had an ocean view. The hotel grounds are small, right on the beachfront. The sunrise is beautifully visible. Pebble beach, many boats on the shore. The rooms are spacious, with blackout curtains and a comfortable mattress. The water pressure is good, including the hot water. The spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The room is clean. There’s a lot of decor—designer pillows, woven boxes, and guest loungewear. Everything is taken care of, and every item adds to the cozy atmosphere of the room. Breakfast offers a varied menu, including fresh juice. The coffee machine was not working. For dinner, there is decent wine. You can relax by the pool with an ocean view from early morning. We really enjoyed all of this."

"At night, we could hear the noise from street dogs. These dogs made it very difficult to sleep. But these dogs stay outside the hotel fence and along the ocean shore. They are not allowed on the hotel grounds. Still, they are very active at night and can be heard."

"The location was beautiful as i had booked the superior suite we had a full view of the Ocean. With the beach being only a few steps away. The room was spacious with a separate kitchenette and a bar fridge. The little touches were a bonus, tea and coffee facilities, a small fruit basket, amenities pack and a relaxing night time basket featuring 2 eye masks, camomile tea and lavender pillow spray. The breakfast choices were excellent and we had no complaints of the quality or quantity. It was a very pleasant stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were marvellous, polite and friendly. The spa was value for money we both enjoyed our massages and the Indian head massage was sublime. It was a boutique hotel, small but well looked after and decor very impressive."

"These are tiny annoyances that didnt effect our enjoyment but I thought I would include them anyway. 1. Only 1 set of cutlery in the kitchen (knife, fork, dessertspoon) 2. No teaspoons for tea/coffee 3. No milk provided but we could ask for some from the bar which was given to us in a glass and only enough for 1 cup each. 4. Check the bar fridge prices the soft drink was 5000idr more expensive than the bar only a few more steps away. 5. Beanbags and lounger cushions were thrown on our patio when it rained and at the end of the day 6. The pillowsprays is only complimentary to spray NOT to take a small note would have been prudent. As I say these small things really didnt upset pur enjoyment at all"

"We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 1. While not all the reasons are the fault of the hotel. We came to Amed for a peaceful rest and did not find that at Salt unfortunately. Mainly due to the construction next door, which was very close to our adjoining wall, and the rooftop bar,also next door, playing music till 10/11 pm. Dogs barking all night and traffic noise. The property to access Salt and property on other side are full of rubbish, as was the beach in front, which you can not really access due to the boats on it. The rooms all lookout to the pathway to the restaurant, so no privacy at all and you need to keep curtains closed. There was a really bad smell in the bathroom and the water pressure for the shower was nearly non existent. At one stage there was actually no water coming out of any taps. I would like to point out that the staff are absolutely lovely and definately an asset to the hotel and the restaurant food was also nice."
