Riva Rooms ligger kun 50 meter fra havet, ved siden af den populære Riva Promenade og kun få skridt fra alle vigtige seværdigheder, herunder Diocletians Palads, som står opført på UNESCO's verdensarvsliste. Værelserne har gratis trådløs internetadgang samt fælles køkken og opholdsstue med tv. Samtlige hyggelige rede har gulvtæppe, klædeskab, bord og stole. Nogle af værelserne har balkon, og samtlige ferieboliger har eget badeværelse med hårtørrer. Den nærmeste gastronomisk spisested og taverna ligger lige foran Rooms Riva. Der ligger en købmand 5 m derfra, og der er 200 meter til et marked med friske fødevarer. Den gamle bydel, som ligger et par skridt derfra, byder på forskellige gallerier, butikker, caféer, barer og restauranter. Der afholdes regelmæssigt kulturelle arrangementer i sommermånederne. Peristil-pladsen og indgangen til Diocletians Palads ligger 100 meter derfra. Skovparken Marjan ligger 300 meter derfra. Der er mange cykel- og vandrestier, mens udsigtspunktet tilbyder smuk udsyn over Split by. Den centrale bus- og togstation ligger 400 meter derfra, og færgehavnen ligger lige ved siden af. Der sejler dagligt både til de omkringliggende øer Brač, Hvar, Šolta, Vis og Korčula fra havnen i Split.

"Quiet but central location, size of room is superb, cleanliness, friendly and accommodating owner. Excellent value. Very, very close( within 20 metres) to lots of amenities including cafes, supermarket and laundrette. Clean kitchen. Comfortable bed and slap bang opposite Michelin restaurant, which is excellent and amazingly good value. Be sure to book restaurant."

"It was clean, close to the centre (about 10 min walk), and everything you might need during your stay. • Showers: clean, quite modern and comfortable. You can lock the shower door and shower safely. • Beds: one pillow, one blanket, comfortable and big enough. Didn't make sounds and overall it was a good night sleep. Of course as you see from the photos there are no curtains so maybe that could be a privacy issue for some, but we were fine • It's warm and quite. We travelled in January and it was good • U have cabinets to lock your stuff in, not a huge space but it was enough for us (two backpackers) • Sinks and mirrors in the bathroom : a lot of it, all clean, water is drinkable from the tap"
