"Hotel Continental is located not far from the main Rijeka promenade Korzo, which is very convenient. Since I only stayed at the hotel for one night (15/16.2.2026), I can't say much about the services. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of dishes. Since it was raining heavily on Monday, 16.2.2026, I had lunch at the hotel – I got excellent “pljukanci” (traditional Istrian hand-rolled, spindle shapes pasta) in pesto sauce at a very reasonable price."
"Unfortunately, on Monday morning I could’t take a shower in my bathroom. The shower knob at the faucet was stuck and could’t be moved. Sice there was no tub stopper, I could’t take a bath. Fortunately, I met the housekeeper and a chambermaid in the corridor – they too couldn’t move the shower knob. Then they went to find a tub stopper, alas, with no success. After approx. 10-15 min. the housekeeper told me, that I should take a shower in another room. I’m a frequent traveller and consequently a frequent hotel visitor, but something like this has never happened to me. Later, the receptionist apologised for the inconvenience, which indeed it was."

"Great location hotel in very downtown. Clean rooms (cleaning, new towels every day), with great matrecces. Staff is also nice. Breakfast is amazing - great variety and really tasty. All in all, highly recommended, would definitely choose Hotel Continental again, when next time in Rijeka."

"It was so homely and comfortable and had a beautiful balcony. I loved that it was far enough away from Zrce beach but close enough for a cheap uber, allowing us to be in the heart of the real croatia. the beach was so close and was so beautiful and secluded and we all really enjoyed ourselves! It was really easy to use all of the facilities like the job and microwave and shower and we were able to get on with daily activities as usual."

"The rooms were very clean and the balcony was overlooking the beach. You have Restaurant’s a few feet away. There is a small supermarket 200 meters away , it is a little pricey but I suggest you stock up on essentials before you arrive. The beach 🏝️ is a few steps away and the water is amazing. Small shops along the waterfront include a small bakery stand, fruit stand, icecream and crepes, restaurants and 3 shops with all the beach essentials."

"Zaton er et skønt sted for hele familien - masser af aktiviteter både i løbet af dagen og aftenen. Vores unger nød pool og aften fodboldkampene ekstra meget. De “billige” lejligheder (i “ “ tegn for så billige er de heller ikke :-) er super hyggelige, men efter danske standarder, så skulle døre, vinduer mv være udskiftet for mange år siden (men som charmerende ældre lejlighed i varmen fungerer det fint)."
"Very uncomplicated check-in, host was very kind and easy to contact in case we had questions. We got nice information about public transportation, unfortunately the dog wasnt allowed on the bus. The host speaks bery good German. Location was close to the beach. The room was clean and had air conditioning. We could park in front of the house and we were allowed to leave the car there even after we checked out."
