"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

"Det var et godt og meget centralt overnatningssted for en enkelt nat eller to. Personalet (Xavier) var meget imødekommende og hjælpsomt."

Lidt små senge men ellers var værelserne okay for prisen.

"A wonderful hotel that makes you sleep with peace of mind. A warm reception and a smile on their faces. The breakfast is good. The place is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it to you. The room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV that only has Tunisian channels. There are no movie channels. This is the point.I don't like it. I want all the channels on the TV. Wi-Fi in every room. Good. The security guard is cheerful. Thank you."

I just didn't like the breakfast. I don't want eggs with onions. Everyone is free to eat what they want.

"Der var rent, pænt og roligt, og en dejlig tagterrasse. Personalet var utroligt søde og yderst hjælpsomme. Værelset var perfekt størrelse med moderne og fint badeværelse. Rigtig god valuta for pengene."

Der kunne godt mangle lidt socialt liv, når det er et hostel :)

Der kunne måske godt lige have været en omgang kaffe, hvis man lander sent og ikke kan nå i en butik. Og så blev gulvet på badeværelset lidt oversvømmet når man var i bad

"Super god pris og fin, men beskeden morgenmad. Der var rent og personalet var imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Ville helt sikkert komme tilbage:)"

Toiletterne virkede ikke på mit etage, hvilket selvfølgelig kan være et uheld. Alt andet spillede fint

"Charlie welcomed me very friendly and introduced me to the house and facilities. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Communication was absolute great and there was no issues at all. Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. Thanks Charlie for your great hospitality, I will definitely recommend 77 Tourist House!"

"The hostel was run by a really lovely woman and her daughter who were so kind and friendly - they made our stay. The hostel was relaxed and had a good kitchen and areas to relax. The rooms are simple but comfortable."

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"Det var voldsom billigt. Vi kom af med 1200 for 2 overnatninger. Det ligger meget centralt i byen, tæt på metro også."

Vi fik kun skiftet håndklæder en enkelt gang eller to.

"Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. "Very clean, cozy and cheap. Perfect for a long layover in Abu Dhabi."

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !
