Rooms were basic and cleanliness wasn’t 100% but location and facilities more than made up for it

The pool no to clean

"The view from the pool is absolutely stunning! It's in a great location - about 10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town where you can find the tuk tuks. The staff were very welcoming throughout our stay and breakfast was really good! The staff were also very helpful - when they couldn't serve an early breakfast, they told us where we could go instead. They were also able to provide information for our next destination. AMEX is accepted. We'll be returning!"

Some things weren't communicated well in the beginning - like having to order breakfast the day before. They were not able to serve an early breakfast to fit with our activities for the day. The wifi doesn't work from the bedroom.

Lejlighed lidt slidt men alt virkede som det skulle, lille brusekabine, mgl. vedligeholdelses. mulighed for at leje SUB på stedet var ikke muligt

"Hele atmosfæren er så skøn hos Viggo på bondegården. Personalet er sød. Viggo kommer gerne og snakker og fortæller om alt muligt. Hytterne er søde, små og fine. Der er hvad der er nødvendigt og resten klares med charme. Der går dyr rundt frit på stedet, hvilket giver en skøn stemning."

Stedet er ikke nyt. Men det viste vi godt. Man skal ikke forvente at alt bare spiller. Men mere at stedet har en vis charme og at det gør at man tænker primitivt, ro og hygge. Men lad ikke det ødelægge chancen for at bo der. Det er et SKØNT sted.

Owners not there so being run by backpackers/chef - meant little things were missed. Boat to get there is very overpriced.

"The territory is huge with a lake and a river, very green, and wild (they don’t seem to do any trimming or gardening there) So it has its charm. This part is exceptional, and very attractive"

Mainly that the experience does not correspond with the price, which would fit a 5-star hotel. Here everybody’s friendly and they try their best, but it feels like it’s the first time they are being a waiter, a host etc.

"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."

"It's a very nice place to experience. However the base is old and not recently renovated. You must keep this in mind. If you like camping atmosphere, that s is your place. Everything is surrounded by big trees. Food was amazing. Beach is very close,"

The road

"Greenery, playgrounds for children, swimming pool, nice and clean room, nice staff"

The food quality should be improved a lot, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The swimming pool board is made of wood, which gets very slippery: both me and my child fell and got hurt

"Chalet was cozy, warm, nice. Exceptional for couples. Wood gave a warm atmosphere. Fantastic details using wood."

I requested additional decoration, but it was very basic.
