"We very spontaneously managed to arrange accommodation in an emergency situation. The landlady was immediately reachable by phone and even came to meet us by car so that we could find the accommodation quickly. She arranged a taxi for us into the city and helped us with the payment, as we no longer had any cash. The landlady was extremely helpful and very accommodating. We also liked the accommodation a lot, especially the view from the balcony."

It's not a complaint as it didn't cause a problem, but the only thing to mention was that the reception wasn't open before 10am, so we had to let the cleaning staff know we were checking out and give our keys to them as the reception was closed.

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

Udsigten var i top og havet var fantastisk og fuld af liv. Hajer, rokker, skildpadder og fisk i alle farver. Fin have med blomster og træer gav en stemningsfuld atmosfære."

"Amazing and chilled place to stay just a few metres from great restaurants and the main plaza. Naum is the heart and soul of the hostel. He manages everything and takes good care of everything. The dorms are basic, the kitchen well equipped and breakfast included. Would recommend it any time"

"A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure. The location was great. A bit away from the busy main street and yet everything is within walking distance."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"Det var et rigtig fint sted og det var lækkert med pool. Det første hus vi skulle have haft kunne døren ikke lukkes men vi fik bare et nyt hus. Det var rent men lidt slidt- men som vores datter sagde "det er jo også dumt at skrifte det ud hvis det virker". Rigtig hyggeligt med veranda."

Måske kunne vi have tænkt os at få skiftet skraldespande hver dag og ikke hver 3. Samme med håndklæder da luftfugtigheden gjorde det svært at få dem tørre fra dag til dag

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."
