"So I want to point out a few things that could be dealbreakers fior some people : 1. The is no reception or staff on site. You need to contact them via Whatsapp when you get there and someone will eventually come to greet you. 2. San Marcos is known for being a hippie hub. Which is fine. At least one guest was burning incense in the hotel, a lit on incense, and since I am not used it, I found it quite disturbing, as the smell was really strong. He kept his door opened while burning incense. This is where having someone in site to control what happens in the establishment makes a difference."

"You can tell is practically new, still in construction. Bed clothes were new. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Personnel were flexible and kind. Good price"

"No hand soap in the bathrooms, no toilet paper in one of them. Rooms weren't super clean. Terrace can be improved with some furniture and cleaning."

"The rooms are big and clean with little balcony and nice view. There is also a kitchen with all the things for cooking. Staff is very nice. Location is next to the road so sometimes it is bit noisy but nothing terrible. For the price super nice place to stay in San Marcos."
