View Kro ligger på kysten ved Eastbourne og har nyeste generation hyggelige rede med eget badeværelse, hvoraf de fleste er med balkon. Centrum af Eastbourne, Royal Eastbourne Park og Eastbourne Station ligger alt sammen en kort gåtur fra overnatningsstedlet. Den berømte klint Beachy Head ligger 8 km derfra. "The location of The View Hotel is perfect. It overlooks the beach and most rooms have a sea view. It is only a short distance from the railway station, theatres, shops, cafes and restaurants. The highly rated Eastbourne Tennis Tournament is only a few minutes walk away. My wife and I particularly like the hotel because all rooms have a balcony. There’s nothing nicer than sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. Meals: Breakfast is excellent. There is something to suit everyone. I like a cooked breakfast and appreciate the fact that the plates are warm. There’s nothing worse than eating cold bacon, mushrooms, hash browns etc! The Vista Bar Cafe is light and airy and offers a good choice of meals. Bedrooms are modern and very well equipped. The pillows, unlike in many hotels we’ve stayed at, were extremely comfortable."
"The shower is situated over the bath. This makes it very difficult for anyone with mobility problems. A walk I shower would be preferable."

"Another comfortable chair in the room, desk chair far too low. No TV instructions. TV should be left on terrestrial BBC stations rather of some obscure radio station, had to call reception to get normal TV picture. A few more milk pots if more than one person in the room. Bedside LED light not working."
"I was poorly with sudden onset Migraine and booked a room at The View within minutes of arriving in Eastbourne as I needed an emergency dark room, bed to lay down, fan to cool my head and quiet space to rest n sleep n be sick. Hotel staff were superb with last minute booking literally arriving within minutes of check in. Staff brought a fan to the room and offered first aid. Overnight rate was good but I only needed to check in and out on the same day as needed to get back to the cat but it was a life saver for a few hours on the day. Beds so comfy too. I slept so well."
