Denne traditionelle pub ligger 15 minutters kørsel fra Huddersfield og foreslår à la carte-retter samt et udvalg af real ale. Det ligger midt i landsbyen Thustonland og byde pår gratis trådløs internetadgang. Al parkeringsfaciliteter er på den stille landsbyvej lige uden for pubben. Vi har ingen parkeringsfacilitetersplads. Hyggelige Redene på The Rose and Crown er enkelt og elegant indrettede med træmøbler. Samtlige rummelige værelser har eget badeværelse med badekar og bruser samt faciliteter til at lave te og kaffe. Spiseområdeen serverer et udvalg af retter og et stort udvalg af fiske- og skaldyrsretter, og der er udover det en børnemenu. Der serveres komplet engelsk kontinental morgenmad hver morgen, og maden tilberedes af lokale råvarer af høj kvalitet. Der er regelmæssig levende musik på The Rose and Crown, og der er desuden temaaftener. Der leveres 6 ægte øl i baupåklagelig. Bemærk venligst, at der er småt, udgangsforbud og lukketid – vi beder alle gæster vende tilbage senest kl. 23.00.

"Well-located for our needs, parking nearby on the street was fine, landlord and staff very hospitable and friendly. Good quality food - we had dinner at the pub and breakfast was included. Well kept and good range of real ales"

"The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was nice and filling. The staff were really nice and the owner was very friendly. We didn't stay for dinner, as we had other plans, but the pub was busy and lots of people ordering food which looked really good so will definitely try it out when next there!"
"The floor was quite creaky. Not an issue for us but did wonder whether other guests could hear it and might be annoyed by it so made us a bit self-conscious of walking around the room."
"Everyone was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived , we were couple of hours early for check in but were allowed to go straight up to our room . Parking is roadside but wasn’t a problem . The room was lovely and clean with tea, coffee and hot chocs to drink ( I had mentioned decaf tea and on arrival there were tea bags in for me ) which was very much appreciated.We ate all 3 nights we stayed there , as the food was so good, choice of big or smaller portions which is a bonus and lots of choices .Breakfast in the mornings was so filling especially the big breakfast, my hubby didn’t eat again until his evening meal !! you can choose exactly what you want too .It was our first time visiting Yorkshire …Richard you and your team made it a fabulous stay and reading abit of your guest book confirms ,you have a little gem there and we would highly recommended to anyone, wanting a lovely stay for a few days in Yorkshire .😊😊"
