"Very cosy and warm. Brian is a very friendly and helpful host and even arranged for the delivery man from the Indian restaurant to bring up my curry on a tray with knife, fork and spoon and warmed plate, up no fewer than 2 flights of stairs direct to my room !"

"The house and our room were beautiful and everything was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were kind and friendly and had thought of everything we might need. Breakfast was very good - recommended!"

"Very close to our daughters home and just a short walk to the town centre."

"Only a very small grumble ,lovely having chocolates to greet, but I think they may have been slightly past their best,plus the biscuit date would be out of date within a week or two so, I decided not to try. Everything else was very good .As I said, this is only a small grumble. Would definitely stay again."

"We were travelling from far north of Scotland, traffic was horrendous and we were sadly delayed by a co long shot. The main desk operator was so patient with us and stayed on longer to greet us. We were exhausted and he helped us too our room without any hesitation. Which we were so thankful of."

The room was spacious for everyone to move around in, it was clean, warm and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was amazing too. The hotel was busy which tells me it is a very popular place."
