"The location is beautiful, woodland on your doorstep, donkeys, lovely scenery. The wood burner and an abundance of free chopped wood available. Our host was lovely, she was so friendly and had the fire burning for us when we arrived, after a long journey, so that was very welcome. The complimentary local wine was so good."

"This is a beautifully restored chateau located in the country on a quiet and scenic location. It is well located for traveling to scenic sights such as St. Emillion, various wine estates, and Bordeaux. Our hostess was lovely ,providing a morning breakfast served with homemade breads,jams,yogurt, and locally grown produce.Additionally, she provided suggestions and directions to some interesting places that we would not have known about without her help. A warm and wonderful place to stay."

"The host was very kind, helpful and attentive to our needs. The location was very good, less than 10 mins from the main station and walkable everywhere in the old town. It was a cute little apartment with a kitchen bigger than we initially thought. The bathroom was modern and nice to use. We didn’t stay there during peak season so it was quiet as well!"
