"Madam Lacrosse was an excellent host and made every thing superb for our comfort. Her daughter Jane made us very welcome too. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. The shady patio and terrace garden were very much appreciated, such a delight. We were delighted the room had a kettle coffee and tea, very important for us. Our breakfast was delicious! It was fresh with lovely croissants, conserve and generous amounts of good coffee. We would heartily recommend Madam Lacrosse’ home-stay in its very good location in this beautiful town. Thank you, we hope to see you again."

"What a beautiful and well equipped home! The home is very large, with a huge bedroom, bathroom and a fabulously equipped kitchen. A lovely offering of croissants, honey, toast, jam and even some milk and beer in the fridge on arrival! Very thoughtful. A beautiful peaceful location - easy walks/runs from the property."

"Great facilities, ideally located to stop off on my long distance cycle tour. Great bread with breakfast and good company with the host whilst I ate outside in the morning sunshine. Completed all my bike maintenance, laundry and use the great showers and fast wifi."
"The house had all the amenities we needed, there were 2 bathrooms which with 4 sharing was very useful. It was in an excellent location within easy walk of the castle, the town, the canal and the train station. The beds were very comfortable and it was in a quiet location despite being so close to everything. The key code on the front door meant that there was no key to lose and it meant that the 4 of us could come and go as we pleased, either together or separately."
