"The hosts were very helpful, caring and friendly. The apartment is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bed is large with very comfortable mattrass and plenty of bedlinen. It is located in a very quiet area, sometimes even two donkeys walking around in the garden. We strongly recommend for travellers looking for a quiet, relaxed stay in a semi-rural environment, close to city and good access to the freeway."

"The apartment is decorated to a very high standard. The host seems to have thought of everything. There's a coffee pod machine, an excellent roomy shower and a tv with Prime and Netflix. The place was spotless on arrival and the bed is really comfortable. Simple check-in procedure and easy contact with concierge if needed (we didn't). The area is quiet overnight. Villeneuve-sur-Yonne is bigger than we thought, though not a lot going on locally it makes a great base to explore the surrounding area. Local train station with 1 hour ride into Paris. We would definitely book L'expedition again if we're back this way. Many thanks"

"We are ashamed that we cannot speak French, however the couple made every allowance for us and we're so kind. We didn't have en-suite but our separate bathroom and toilet were for our sole use and were fantastic. The breakfast was lovely, with breads, cheeses, hams, pastries and homemade hams. What a lovely place to stay."

"Het huis is enorm goed voorzien van allerlei. Moest je iets vergeten zijn, gegarandeerd dat het aanwezig is. Ook aparte badkamers en toilet bij elke slaapkamer is een enorm groot pluspunt!"

"Amazing host, property and location. Host constantly checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The property was stunning and had everything we needed and was all easy to use. Location was great, just a short walk to the village and a supermarket across the road. Would highly recommend."
