"Beautiful cottage by the canals. Very well stocked with all you need. Very light and airy and has the canal boat rides going passed the front window. Located in the older part of Colmar and very close to the Christmas markets."

"There is a steep set of stairs once you get into the cottage which we found a little difficult to get up with two large, heavy suitcases."

"Perfect location. Well fitted out apartment, coffee maker, fridge etc. Terrace onto the canal in the heart of petite Venice was great for breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Lovely rainfall shower."

"The first floor apartment is ideally located in Petite Venise and has a beautiful view over the canal. The place was quiet, very clean and just as pictured. The kitchen and facilities had everything we needed and it was great to have the numerous fans and air conditioning units provided to keep us cool during summer. The check out time is really generous and it was a short walk to the train station. Would highly recommend!"

"The apartment has a lot of windows and not all the blinds work, so it is very bright when the sun comes up so not ideal for sleepers that like it a little darker. Also there is protective plastic under the sheet which is a little noisy when moving in your sleep."

"The location of this property is amazing! It is in the heart of Petit Venise. There is a small covered area by the river that you can sit and watch the world (and boat tours) go by. Swans float up and down past you. The apartment is lovely, original features and a good size."

"The location is fantastic looking directly out over the canal, but only a short walk to shops, restaurants etc. Also the host was able to provide parking within easy walking distance at a reasonable price per day."

"It would have been useful to have a washing machine, but given the small size of the accommodation that is probably not possible. We went to a very efficient washing/drying operation at a supermarket which was fine."
