"On arrival we were greeted with a tour of the house via phone with the lovely owner. The house is full of character, quirky and very comfortable. It was just great in every way. The home comforts such as washing powder, shampoo etc was a nice welcoming touch. The house has a hot tub, musical instruments and lots of garden spaces to enjoy. We loved the fire pit which we used a few times and the stars at night were so clear they were amazing. The swimming pool was just a short walk away and it had a life guard and changing facilities. The area itself had lots of fabulous places to visit with plenty of activities, shopping, caves, canoeing. We are going home happy, refreshed and relaxed."

"Lejligheden er smagfuldt indrettet med sans for smukke og velvalgte løsninger. Køkkenet rummer det nødvendige, og sengene er behagelige. Udendørs arealet til lejligheden er også rart med en lille grøn væg som adskillelse til den anden lejlighed, ligesom haven giver adgang til en sikker og bekvem parkering. Haven er vidunderlig at opholde sig og har gode liggestole. Amboise er en dejlig by; dejlig atmosfære, fint marked især om søndagen og et utal af tilbud til mave og mund. Også historisk og kulturelt har Amboise nok at byde på og ligger godt for besøg i Loire-dalen. Værtinden er usædvanlig imødekommende og venlig og er tydeligvis optaget af, at man skal føle sig godt tilpas under opholdet. Instruktionen til lejligheden og anden information er ganske enkelt i top."

"The pictures don't do justice for the view from the window, which is absolutely spectacular - beautiful mountains including the peak of Mont Blanc, right there. The apartment was very clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment. Extra points for the Nespresso coffee machine + capsules that were available. Bathroom was very good for such a small apartment, really good shower. Communication with the host was quick and easy and arrival to the location was flexible. It's about 20min walk / 10min busride from the center, also a stop for the local train is right outside. A pretty well stocked and decently priced grocery store and bakery is a 5min walk away. The apartment is large enough for 1 person on a skitrip (i stayed for 10 nights), or 2 persons for a shorter holiday (not a lot of storage room for clothes etc.). The building was really quiet & peaceful."

"really nice studio, the location was excellent .....a longish walk to the centre ville was offset by the lovely view over the marina, right next to a nice beach, and a night market on the quayside. the shower in the property was the best we have experienced in over 10 years of using booking.com!!!!!! the built in bunk beds were really clever and the sofa bed was properly comfortable"
