"We booked a standard room as we were only staying overnight. As it was quiet we were upgraded at no extra cost to a suite. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The bar was comfoprtable and a couiple of beers after a 5 hour drive went down well. The lady on duty was charming"

"All in all it exceeded our expectations"

"Large room, very comfortable. Convenient, secure parking. Dog friendly."

"After a long journey, and on a rainy evening, it would have been great to have a bar serving light snacks. We knew the restaurant was closed. The bar was open but it was basic, doubling up as the breakfast room for the next morning. The hotel seemed lightly staffed."
