Maison Normande

"It is a lovely rustic French Gite in a very quiet location. It has a shared courtyard which is very pretty with room for cars to park too. The Gite is no more than a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the facilities. There is a Carrefour nearby as well as several restaurants and snack bars. Can recommend the Overlord Bar for pizzas and salads.The beach is lovely with the stunning Caissons to look at when the Sun sets. The beach was very popular and suitable for families. If you are there for the Normandy D-Day landings, then Asnelles is a good location for most of the museums."

"I didn't dislike anything at the property. However some people may prefer more modern bathroom facilities. The bath size is typically French, not being the same length as a typical English bath."

"Mycket franskt boende. Mysigt. Mycket trevlig värdinna som överlämnade nycklarna. Angelägen om att allt skulle vara bra. Promenadavstånd från historiska stranden. Lugnt boende, inga störande ljud."

"Maison de caractère, déco mêlant l'ancien et quelques meubles relookés, petit salon sympa pour se réunir et WIFI performante. Ponctualité et adaptabilité de la propriétaire, possibilité de garer les véhicules dans la cour (rassurant quand ils sont chargés), équipement de la cuisine complet"

"Cuisine pas dans le ton du reste de la maison bien que l'équipement soit suffisant, salle de bain un peu limite = poignée de porte qui ne tient pas, paroi de douche qui ne parait pas tenir et prise rasoir HS. Il ne manque vraiment pas grand chose pour être totalement satisfaits. Attention à l'église toute proche qui sonne tôt le matin pour ceux qui y seraient "sensibles"..."
