"A lovely place in a peaceful village. The old house is beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, even though we didn’t always share a common language. The food in the garden restaurant was excellent."

"The location is wonderful and surprising! I found it perfect for my travel plans and I had the chance to meet Isabelle. The breakfast was exceptional and authentic and the outdoor seating is a great place to start your day. The room was clean and the terrace was big and with a view on the river. "Absolutely everything., the room was lovely, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast is the best I’ve had anywhere, Isabelle is an amazing hostess. The restaurant along the river offers delicious food and wine and the duck is a speciality. The old mill that is still operating was really interesting to watch and learn about and the nut oils they make there are divine, along with the duck products as well. We had a room with a balcony and only wished there had been more days available to stay longer. To all the aussies out there reading this review, do yourself a favour and stay here."

"Beautiful and unusual place to stay. I arrived late and very tired during the Race Across France bicycle race. My brain wasn't functioning properly but the owner was very understanding and went out of their way to get me checker in okay. Highly recommended. Thank you."

"Our second stay here. Love this place. Catherine and Phillipe are kind friendly hosts. Old house with modern facilities and large bedrooms Peaceful setting with great swimming pool and beautiful garden. Also very much enjoyed dinner here as restaurant closed in Saintes Sundays and Mondays. We will return for sure."

"Very comfortable and plenty of space. Well-equipped. The second (sofa) bed is a good size for 2 adults and larger than most we have used. Amazing location right in the heart of Riquewihr. Fabulous boulangerie patisserie just around the corner for bread, pastries and cakes. Whilst we didn't meet the host face-to-face, he provided all the necessary information and it was spot on. He also responded very quickly to emails ahead of our stay and whilst there."
