"Unique and central, we really liked staying here. The host is very responsive and helpful, he sent us very useful info even before arrival and greeted us on arrival with even more tips. The story of the house is really amazing and you can see the love they have for it. The hosts live at the same property, but other than on arrival, we didn't even see them and they gave us privacy. The location is great, very central, in a quiet neighborhood, with great views and parking just next to it. The room is very spacious, the main bed comfortable though the little extra one could be better. The breakfast plentiful and catered to our needs."

"Nothing to dislike, although I would warn people with reduced mobility would find the tiny spiral stairs difficult."

"Our host was incredibly welcoming and so helpful about where to park and recommendations for places to eat in Blois and nearby to the house. She also was an expert on the history of her lovely, ancient and unique home, and had lots of tips for places to visit in Blois. She spoke English too, as well as French and Spanish. The bed was very comfortable and large, and we slept very well. Breakfast was superb fresh bread, butter croissants and homemade cake, with yoghourt, fruit and the local goats cheese. We had breakfast on the ground floor which we could use as a sitting area in the evening. It was an added bonus that there was also a generous fridge/ freezer so we could store our next day's picnic , refreeze our ice packs, and make ourselves comfortable on the easy chairs whilst having a hot drink or a glass of wine/beer. The house was perfect for a party of three adults."
