"Superb house a good distance from the centre so you will need a car or bikes to reach La Rochelle. We booked a taxi one night as we wanted to have a drink or 2 and it was 30 euros each way so added quite an amount to our dinner out. The owner Valerie is delightful and very happy to help recommend restaurants and places to visit - she is such a lovely owner always happy to help . Her breakfasts every morning are amazing and were enjoyed immensely. We never got to use the swimming pool sadly as the weather wasn’t warm enough."

"The step in our bedroom was quite tricky in the middle of the night as you could easily trip in the dark. Other than that the whole visit was great."

"We had a great time at the Logis. It is a very charming house with all amenities you need for a pleasant and restful stay. The swimming pool is beautiful. On top of that the house provides for several common areas with board games, TV, books, microwave, etc. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is outstanding. We particularly loved the pancakes. The hosts are extremely careful and full of good advices. We will definitely come back and we can only recommend."

"Valerie really went out of her way to make us welcome, making amazing vegetarian breakfasts for us. There is secure bike storage, an amazing setting and pool. We loved our spotlessly clean double room. There are great amenities with a guest area with kitchen and tv lounge. The location is great, 20 minutes cycle ride from La Rochelle along the pretty canal but far enough away to be tranquil and calm."

"Lovely characterful property a short distance from La Rochelle. Very friendly and welcoming hosts- and we loved Spritz the playful kitten! The room was comfortable and clean, and being able to use the separate living space for meals and relaxation was a great bonus. Breakfast was superb - freshly prepared with many home grown or prepared ingredients, and different every day. The outside pool is beautiful. Highly recommended."

"Nothing, although you do need to be aware that the property is a few kilometres from the centre of Rochelle. We took our bikes, and it is a lovely easy (flat!) ride of about 20 minutes alongside the canal into the centre."

"Excellent Breakfast! Great choice and variety on a daily basis and service with a smile . Valerie was very welcoming, friendly and a very helpful hostess. La Rochelle has a lot to offer: Port, museums etc. and many walks around the old city."
