"After a long day of driving we were welcomed exceptionally well by the owner. Although we just stayed for one night we felt very welcome. We liked the atmosphere of the old chique manoir very much, it's typical French I would say. The countryside with the young bulls behind the cottage gave a really rustic rural feel what we liked very much. Still it's a short drive towards Langres where you have nice restaurants to spend the evening. The following morning we had the most extensive and cared for breakfast we have ever experienced in France on a stop. After a nice talk with the owner we hit the road again promising ourselves to come back to this place."

"Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, super quiet. The gîte is in a small building behind the main building (unfortunately not on the pictures, but it looks like a small chateau). One bedroom, one livingroom with a sofa bed. Excellent for a family of four travelling through. The house even had games and toys for the kids. We were there during an August heatwave, but the house was really well insulated and cool."
