Les Ombelles

"Perfect stop during our bike trip through France. The hosts Catherine and Philippe were very kind and thoughful. We received a welcome drink at our arrival. Great breakfast. Large space including a living room, there was also a TV and DVD player with some old movies. The pool area was nice. Please note that the refrigerator and microwave is by the pool. There is a boulangerie around the corner and two restaurants by the lake which is walking distance to (one outdoor restaurant). Very quiet village."

"Nothing. The room was on the top floor of the house so it got a bit warm when it was hot outside but we had a window open at night so then it was ok."

"Les Ombelles is very well presented and the room was very comfortable. The hosts are very pleasant and their house is lovely. A kettle and coffee machine was provided in the room along with bottles of water and some madelines. There was a continental breakfast including lovely brioche buns and homemade crepes. There was a selection of jams, which was also homemade. The breakfast was very well presented and enjoyable. The property is a traditional style but includes a modern swimming pool. The village is quiet and there are various things to do nearby. There is generous car parking opposite the property. We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed for longer."

"Accueil très chaleureux. Le couple nous attendait devant le gîte alors que nous n'avions pas annoncé notre heure d'arrivée ! Petit déjeuner sucré salé différent chaque jour avec des mets préparés le matin même et surtout très savoureux. Salade de fruits frais différente chaque matin. Literie très confortable et joliment décorée. Piscine très agréable où il est même possible d'organiser un casse-croûte en privé car entourée d'un frigo, de tables et chaises."
