"Lovely 2 bed gite with a huge garden ( 150m long) in a quiet village a few miles from a town with restaurants and supermarkets. Well equipped including a washing machine which was useful. Close to the River Creuse and canoeing is available in Le Blanc. Old railway line running through the village has been repurposed for cycling along the valley. We had a lovely week."

"We were self catering for breakfast. The garden was amazing, large and peaceful. There was good garden furniture available. Thierry showed us around and we had everything that we could possibly need."

"Heerlijk vrij gelegen Franse woning met een enorme grote tuin. Overal kun je heerlijk buiten zitten. Heel stil en prachtig gelegen aan de rand van een klein dorp. Steenuil en veel andere vogels in de tuin. Alles in de woning aanwezig wat je maar nodig kunt hebben. Lekker schoon. Het huis is mooier dan op de afgebeelde foto's. Heel aardige eigenaar. Bereid om overal mee te helpen. Dank voor alles Thierry."

"The host went out of his way to inform myself and my children about ideas for hikes and other activities in the area. He even left a piece of local cheese for us to enjoy. The accommodation is perfect for parents and one or two children and the local area has lots to offer in terms of outdoor activities and locally produced food. The "cascade des Hérissons' is one of my favourite trails to do with kids - with scenery reminiscent of the King Arthur stories."

"Personal welcome, everything was foreseen for the first couple of days, even some basic food package. The hosts were extremely friendly without being intrusive. They were ready to answer all our questions but respected our personal space. In the apartment, all local info (maps, sightseeing tips,...) were present."

"Jean-Paul's gîte is charming and beautifully sited in a tranquil spot within walking distance of Cassis. It was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere of the vineyards and as a base to visit the Calanques. Jean-Paul is the loveliest of hosts, happy to share information about the area and generously took us to visit friends who own a spectacular winery on the outskirts of Cassis.
