"We were Florence's guests during our weekend stay in Provence. The rooms are very nice situated right by the pool, the garden surrounding it is exceptional and very beautiful. The pool is really a game during hot time of the day :-) It's not very far from the village, we walked there by foot, there are some possibilities for evening meal. We had minor problems with finding the place, but finally we found it. There is a lot of choices for french breakfast, you can choose the day before what you want to be served. You can also choose the time, 8.00 or 8.30. Wifi is working well."

"You are asked not to bring your own food. I think this is the reason why there is no small fridge in the room."

"Florence is an excellent host. Parking on site was easy. We had a good choice of food for breakfast which was delivered to our terrace every morning. The location is very good, with a short 15 minute walk to the village. This is up and down hill so maybe a challenge for some, although it is possible to park near the village. The whole place is very clean and well kept."

"It was so tranquil and beautifully kept. The room was spacious and air conditioned and I made great use of the pool area for both exercise and swimming. I love how Florence has created a slightly communal element by serving breakfast and dinner on the deck."

"My husband and I recently spent 2 nights in Les Costebelles - Florence was a wonderful hostess who made us feel so welcome in her home. Our stay was during the heatwave and we really loved having use of her swimming pool and beautiful garden. Florence served us breakfast on both mornings on the terrace beside the pool which was a lovely start to each day. Les Costebelles is ideally situated if you wish to explore the beautiful area of the Valensole Plateau."

"The host was absolutely lovely and helpful. The breakfast served individually each morning is made with lots of love and tastes great."

"The rooms were a little to sparely furnished for our tastes, the bathroom however was nice."

"The place is beautiful, you feel relaxed just being there. Breakfast is AMAZING. We looked forward to it every night before we slept. You feel pampered. The ingredients for food seemed locally sourced which is great. The pool is lovely. Florence is a lovely host and made us feel at home. Her dog is the cutest thing ever (doesn’t come near you so no worries if you’re afraid of dogs). Walking out of your room onto the pool area is gorgeous and having breakfast outside of your room felt like we were being spoilt."

"The rule about not bringing in your own meals for dinner is a bit of a bummer, but we opted to eat in a restaurant in Valensole town on one evening, and had one of the in house meals for dinner on the other, which was fantastic. The inability to purchase drinks whilst the owner was away from the property for a couple of hours was a bit inconvenient but I could have planned better from my end on that front."
