"Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer ruhigen Umgebung auf dem Land. Das schöne Zimmer war an einem heißen Tag angenehm kühl. An alles ist gedacht und sehr sauber. Hervorzuheben ist die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber und das tolle Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Saft, selbstgemachter Marmelade und hochwertigen Wurst- und Käsespezialitäten. Wir haben hier einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht und die Erholung von einer langen Reise genossen. Lage perfekt, um Martel und Rocamadour zu besuchen - ohne den Trubel."

"La casa...todo! La bienvenida de los propietarios..agua y detalle para comer..La habitación, enorme! El baño, igual...El desayuno, a la hora indicada en una mesita al salir...queso, croissant, yogur, zumo natural, mermelada..La piscina, con las toallas aparte de las de baño, preparadas para disfrutar de ella y de las hamacas... buah... todo espectacular...Ir, y lo veréis..y no olvidéis visitar Martel!!! "The apartment was ideal for 2 people - it is small but modern and very near to Luchon town centre with lots of restaurants nearby. There was also free car parking within a short walk of the apartment. We met the owners twice and they were charming. Range of kitchen equipment was excellent."

"The house is beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and clean with everything one needs- bbq and dining area outside with a lovely garden with sun loungers, power showers, towels, iron/hairdryer etc, the kitchen is well stocked with all equipment. The Lounge is spacious with plenty of seating.. The area is super quiet and the roads are perfect for a ramble. Natalie, our host was lovely and welcoming. Although the location is remote, there is a village within 5km with a train station and a beautiful local bakery within walking distance."

"La Martinoise was absolutely the best accommodation we could have hoped for. It’s in a great location close to the centre of Saint Martin. There was everything that we needed for the perfect stay on Ile de Ré, the kitchen was well equipped and the pantry items (and complimentary bottle of rosé and water) provided were much appreciated, it was very clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable. The host Alex very kindly met us at the property both on arrival to thoroughly explain everything to us and give recommendations, and on departure to check that everything went well and to get our feedback. I highly recommend this accommodation, it was by far the best accommodation in the 7 weeks of travelling in France, and also the best experience with an accommodation booking! Our expectations for everything were definitely exceeded! Merci beaucoup Alex 😊"

We did our washing at a laundromat and asked permission to hang the washing on the clothes line to dry. The host then kindly took our washing off the line when we were delayed charging our hire car."
