"Only one room was ready when we arrived (we booked two) which seemed ok when we were told it would only be 20 mins. It was about 1.5 hours until it was ready and even then I had to find out myself from the cleaner. The cleaner told me she was working alone and had been busy. Weather was very hot and with the rooms not being too spacious anyway, it felt an inconvenience that we didn’t receive an apology for or even anything complimentary. Also, the fans didn’t work very well in the rooms (one had a loose plug) which was annoying given the hot weather. The location is great but it was a bit noisy in the early morning with staff and deliveries arriving as our rooms were above the kitchen. Overpriced for what we had."

"Quirky hotel rooms bit like a ship with porthole type windows. Great location if like walking and biking, even though we travelled by car enjoyed the natural feel of it all"

"I had to pay twice as I made a mistake in the booking. I immediately tried to change it but the system would not let me. So I had to pay 262 euros for a booking I couldn't make. I tried to contact Booking.com and they sent me an email saying they would look into it. I repeatedly tried to email the hotel but no reply. Lovely people there but couldn't help when I told them when I did go. I paid 700 plus euros for the stay this week which I would have been OK with. Peak season. 2 nights. I am a long standing user of Booking.com but now I think I may switch to Air B n B as thus has left a nasty taste in my mouth"

"What a great experience — we arrived in Cap Ferret and were welcomed very friendly. Even though we were a bit early, our room was ready. Super quiet, great bed and even though the bathroom is more on the small side, we had a great time. Don’t miss out on the breakfast, it’s worth it. It took us max 5min to reach the beach. With at least two surf schools on the way and a surf shop on the other side of the street, that was heaven for us 😊"

"Nos hôtes, le papa et ses deux fils étaient particulièrement sympathiques et arrangeants. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux avec des produits de qualité et faits maison. L'hôtel est très bien placé au cœur du Cap Ferret. Il a beaucoup de charme avec la voie ferrée du petit train de tourisme qui passe juste devant et se dirige vers l'Océan.. Tarif correct car en hors saison."

"L'hôtel est vieillissant et nécessite des travaux urgent de rénovation, particulièrement dans la salle de bain ; Fuite lavabo, bas de montants de porte rouillés et dangereux pour quelqu'un qui se prendrait le pieds dedans."
