"Tucked away, yet very close to the City Centre, this is part of an interesting and beautiful house. The bedroom was very old fashioned but comfortable. We loved the bed linen in particular. Breakfast was served in an amazing room and the food was super fresh and delicious"

"This hotel is in a convenient location for visiting the sights of Chartres. It has easy accessible free parking which we were able to use prior to checking in. It has a nice friendly family feel about it and the breakfast which is included in the price was very enjoyable. The room was well equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, and even has a mini-fridge (many hotels could learn from this). Chartres has many bars and restaurants, we chose to go to the Punjab Indian restaurant and we had a fabulous meal (try their fish pakoras - wow!), strangely they don't do pappadoms but you can't have everything in France."

"Location is good. 10 min walk down the hill to town. 15 mins uphill to nearest ski lift though the ski bus stops outside if you prefer. Roomy appartment for the two of us. Comfortable bed, nice and warm, decent shower with plenty of hot water and fully stocked kitchen which was handy. Price point is very good value for Chatel and this ski area."
