"Clear, easy to follow directions were given before arrival. Gilles was a very responsive host, who responded to all our questions very quickly. The apartment is beautiful; decorated with many lovely details. There are also guide books and a folder with information available. The location is fantastic. Bakery and cheese shop across the street, fruit and vegetables store next door and supermarket a few minutes to walk. You are in the centre of Saint Remy within a 10 minute walk and by car within an 1 hour radius of many, many great places to explore. We had a super time."

The owner/host was most helpful and welcoming: he sacrificed his own parking place so we could park our large car near the hotel; he gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the building, which was once owned by alchemosts and still attracts modern day enthusiasts; and he was very informative about the best things to do in Le Puy."
