"It was different and quirky. Rooms clean and tastefully renovated. Very helpful and lovely owner. Excellent restaurant a short walk away , interesting options for non meat eaters. Vege all grown in the owners garden . Perfect continental breakfast served at same restaurant outside looking out to the mountains and maquis. Enjoyed the short walk to the restaurant."

Breakfast was fresh and homemade, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, it really felt like staying with family. The interiors were incredible — effortless chic with so much character and style. The bed was heavenly, and the pillows honestly better than any big hotel chain I’ve tried (Marriott, Hilton, you name it). You really get the authentic Corsican countryside experience here, surrounded by the farm and stunning mountain views. It’s the perfect mix of charm, authenticity, and effortless elegance — a boutique stay that feels warm and genuine."

"Fantastic stay! The hotel is located in a remote area, yet really close to the coast, allowing you to reach the bigger cities in 15-30 min drive. If you are looking for a secluded stay in a pristine farm between the mountains with breathtaking views -- this is a place for you. The hosts are extremely accommodating, ready to help and make your stay as comfortable as they could. Not even mentioning the restaurant and breakfast in one of the most picturesque locations possible. We will be looking forward to come back!"

"The hosts were really kind and helpful, but we were disappointed to not eat our evening meal there because they were 'fully booked', especially when I phoned earlier in the day and was told they were a cash only establishment and that I could draw cash to pay for the meal from a cash machine in town, which I did, having to pay six pounds extra fees to do so. On our arrival we were told they couldn't fit us in and we were left with extra euros to pay for the meal, which we otherwise would have not needed and will now have to convert back to sterling with a further loss and fees to pay."

"The accommodation was very good and modern but was situated approximately a quarter of a mile from the dining area down a dusty or muddy (depending on the weather) unlit track that was very uneven and you could easily trip or twist an ankle in the dark. The option is to drive down and back which wasn't what we were expecting or desiring. We didn't know this when we booked and would have booked something a little less rural. However, if that is your thing then that's fine but if not, now you know what to expect."

"We’d had a hard days cycling and found L’Aghjalle a wonderful quiet retreat to recover in. The rooms are amazing. It’s like sleeping in a cave! From the extensive garden with seating and far reaching views we walked through olive groves a short distance to eat at their restaurant. At first we thought it was a bit pricy only to find it is a Michelin guide recommended restaurant and people come from miles around to eat there! Superb meal. Great atmosphere."
