"We stayed just one night had a room with very little light - window opened to an inner court. Next time we shall get a room with a view!!"

"The location was excellent for us, on the edge of town near small beaches. We cycled into the main town (mostly car free route, but hilly and very busy with cyclists/pedestrians) the hotel also had a bus stop right outside. The concierge was very helpful, arranging dinner bookings and bike storage for us. The hotel itself and the garden was beautifully maintained with a pool for each house and a heated pool in front of the main house. Our room was huge with a lobby, dressing room and a great bathroom as well as the bedroom. We had a patio area, accessible from the bedroom and the bathroom"

"The rooms were in splendid houses with large seating areas and well equipped kitchens- these weren’t in use and it was a little strange walking through to get to the room. We had some small niggles with the room itself. It had a huge bed, but no bedside tables, and it wasn’t possible to reach the switch for the bedside light without getting out of bed. There was a single bed on one wall covered with a black cloth and some small black cushions- it wasn’t possible to use it as seating without banging your head on the TV on the wall above. It would have been much nicer to have a bed we’re there, or at least some large colourful cushions to allow it to be used as seating. There was also a large but nearly dead pot plant in the room."

"The property itself was beautiful and really well thought out. A family run business since 2013 they have crafted 3 beautiful Villas with a forth in progress. Its location is ideal if you want a short drive to both San Sebastián or Biarritz."

"To be honest there was nothing. If I’m going to be fussy the wifi connection to our room was weak, but we hardly used it because the villa had beautiful facilities."

"The view out to the sea was lovely! Good breakfast hot and cold food and lots of choice!"

"There was only one nice restaurent nearby and it was closed for the nights we stayed! There were some beach bars but not open in the rain !we ended up with a pizza takeaway!"

"Philippe is a superb host, nothing was too much trouble for him. He even arranged a table for us at a local restaurant. Also there was a problem with my credit card payment following the booking, so I phoned and offered to pay then - "no problem, don't worry". Excellent host 👏"

"The view was not quite as described (pool view) but then we were very late booking for a single night when the resort was full."
