"Nicely equipped, well located and supported by a friendly and responsive host. The apartment is close to good transportation, restaurants and interesting shopping. It is comfortable and spacious with a few quirks so it doesn’t feel dull. Great heating during winter."

"Loud at night. The bedroom with single beds faces the street and on a Friday night it was loud until late. It is understandable, there are bars and restaurants around the area so you will need to accept that. But if you are a light sleeper, take the bedroom away from the street."

"Location was absolutely the best! The flat feels nice and cosy while you are in the middle of a trendy, lively area with all commodities just across the street. All sightseeing is within walking distance! Evelyne gave us a warm welcome and was very responsive and helpful. Very nice also to have the “basic” things like toilet paper, tea, salt and pepper… when you arrive in the flat."

"The room by the street is not so quiet: you need to accept the “city sounds “. The small room in the back on the other hand, is very quiet."

"Definitely an older style apartment but that was exactly what we loved about it. So charming with shutters and original floorboards. Truely felt like a special experience to stay somewhere so historical. Has everything you could want for a stay. Clean and well thought out spaces. The host was absolutely lovely, very responsive and took the time to personally welcome us."

"The apartment was centrally located which made it so easy to get to all the main sights. There was also a massive supermarket on the same street and super close by. The whole apartment was very spacious, with every room also having a door that closed for privacy, and it felt like such a luxury to have 2 toilets. We made good use of the kitchen and laundry so it feels like it was money well spent. The host was also lovely and very quick to respond to questions."

"There is no shower curtain or door in the bathroom so the entire bathroom gets wet every time the shower is used which was annoying. Wifi was extremely slow and patchy. We were also requested to take out the trash, strip the beds, gather towels etc which I thought could have been done by a professional cleaner instead of the guest."

"Excellent location. Tastefully decorated. Quiet. Host provided a lot of instruction about the apartment and there was a lot of information (pamphlets) about Lyon."

"Kitchen not well equiped: Nearly no olive oil, almost no pepper, no condiments. My husband and I are in our 60's but had to provide a damage deposit of 300 Euros. Host asked us to strip the beds and gather up all used towels. I would not expect this requirement for the amount we paid per night."

"Central location. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and furnishings and facilities are of a very high standard. It felt luxurious."

"While it is nice and central to everything, the apartment building is down a side street which also has a bar a couple of restaurants. People hang out and are a little noisy outside the bar - noise can be clearly heard from the twin room. The double room is at the back so unaffected by this. The street didn't smell too good in the mornings though."

"The apartment is placed in a charming, central quarter of Lyon. Near everything but in distance of the mass tourism in Vieux Lyon. The flat is spacious and clean with all facilities you need. Evelyne is a welcoming and efficient host."
