Set just outside the medieval walls, this bed and breakfast is just 150 metres from the medieval city of Carcassonne and a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It offers a seasonal bar and bistro with a terrace and views of the medieval city. Free WiFi is provided. Rooms are simply decorated using neutral tones and all have air-conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom. Two rooms at La Rapière offer views of the medieval city and one room has a private terrace. "Charles gave us on upgrade to the room with a balcony. This was so nice as we were looking straight to the castle, what a view! Hotel is very nice, in the evening is the bar open and also locals are finding this a nice place. Not noisy and we really enjoyed it with the castle vieuw. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. It also have the parking on the hotel property so very comfy."
