"Comfortable with lots of space and well equipped. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, breakfasts were delicious. A very peaceful location from which we walked into Le Puy. Quite a strenuous uphill walk back but the views were stunning."

"We were expecting a double room, but were pleasantly surprised to find the accommodation to be a decent sized apartment. It was very well equipped, even having a table football game! The location was glorious, with spectacular views of Le Puy awaiting at the end of the road. Our host, Marie, was extremely friendly and helpful, and provided a handsome breakfast. Her son greeted us on arrival and gave us some recommendations for places to eat. We stayed for one night as a stopover on our way to the South, but I would definitely like to return and spend more time in this area using this place as a base."

"The only reason I didn’t feel that I could give La maison des roses 100% was the location. The property is on a fairly steep slope which proved a little difficult for my wife and I, as we both have mobility problems. Our hosts were not aware of this however, but as soon as they found they went out of their way to help, with Marie bringing our breakfast down to the apartment from the house. She could not have been kinder."
