La Maison d'Anne offers self-catering accommodation in a 1610s building, located just 400 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral, in central Paris. In the Medieval basement with stone walls you can enjoy a heated plunge svømmebassin with swim jets, a sauna, a football table and a fitness room. With high ceilings and exposed wooden beams, the individually decorated suites are air-conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each comes with a private bathroom. "A Nespresso coffee machine with unlimited capsules is provided in each accommodation’s kitchenette as well as a kettle with a selection of teas. Ingredients to prepare a typical French breakfast will be provided: yogurts, jams, butter, brioche, juice and milk. The owners live on the premises and will be happy to suggest typical restaurants in the area and give you sightseeing tips. The lively area offers several bars, restaurants and bakeries located within walking distance of the property. La Maison d'Anne is just a 7-minute walk from Saint Michel Metro and RER Station, while the Louvre Museum is 1.5 km away. The nearest airport is Orly Airport, 13 km from the property.

"La Maison d'Anne felt like a home from home. It was comfortable and warm and we loved the extra touches with the decoration and interesting things to look at. You can tell a lot of thought has been put into making the house a welcoming, warm place for visitors. The pool and sauna were an added bonus and we used them every day after a long day of sightseeing."

"- Quiet location (but you need a car). - Our room lacked the bunk bed (as advertised), but the host fixed the issue by giving us an extra room as compensation.."
"This apartment is in a residential block next to the 'Auberge de la Foret' (closed when we were there). Our hostess gave us instructions over the phone - our entrance was round the back, where a small gate opened onto a small outside area with tables and chairs. The apartment was on 2 levels - the main L-shaped room had a well-equipped kitchen, dining table and bar stools, and a comfortable sofa. Upstairs was a mezzanine with bedroom and en-suite bathroom. With the heating on, it was soon very cosy on a wet autumn evening. The next day we drove to Lake Thorenc (not far). We didn't have time to do the walk in the forest but we spent an enjoyable hour walking around the lake, learning about the river and types of fishing from information boards along the way."
