"Lovely old building, lots of character internally and externally. Bang in the middle of everything. Lovely surroundings and a trip round the main chateau practically on your door step. Restaurants, bars and shops surround your area."
"The hike, with bags, from the car park although down to local traffic rather than hotel. It's a 'very' restricted area unless your a blue badge holder which is reasonable."

"This is a very atmospheric hotel with amazing rooms. We had a beautiful four poster bed. The staff were helpful and the breakfast very satisfactory. The location couldn’t be better as it is so close to the chateau, which is certainly worth a visit."

"The room was amazing! It looked absolutely beautiful and was a bigger size than we expected (not a bad thing). The location was also very convenient, right next to the castle with secured parking a 5 minute walk away."

"In the centre of everything, lots of restaurants etc around. The breakfast was very nice and the staff pleasant."
"Car park was away from the hotel which was multi storey. It was a short walk to the hotel but as it was raining not great. As it was raining and we arrived early you couldn’t access the hotel as it didn’t open until 5pm and everything else was closing as it was after 3 pm so had to walk back and wait in the car."
