"Location was suited to my purpose in a quiet residential area of Compiègne, a small town with short distances. The host warns about reduced manoeuvering space to reach the parking space, but this is overstated: some confidence, rather than skill, is just required upon exiting down the ramp. Note - Breakfast: not applicable."

"- Reading the lilliputian digits & operating the corroded and poorly lit scroll wheels of the code mailbox about one foot above ground is a disconcerting, albeit one-time, experience: at the very least, they should be cleaned or otherwise revived - Drains in bathroom gave out a sewer smell. Closing the door will also shut out gushing sounds in apparent piping."

"Parking was tricky, very narrow access and also difficult to manouvere a large car up/down the ramp. It was also difficult to find the apartment although this was due to a language barrier and a mix up with between left/right! The host responded straight away to help however."
