"Loved it. We stayed here 7 years ago and it was still just the same. We even had the privilege of seeing the Madame who welcomed us previously. We were able to dine in the family’s restaurant across the road. Excellent food cooked by chef Phillipe. Small country village with all the charm of the area."

"Lovely hotel in the French countryside. Spacious room, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Appreciated the balcony outside the room plus seated areas in the garden and patio with loungers for relaxing. Very tasty breakfast. Free onsite parking. Extremely helpful staff (apart from bar manager). Good onsite restaurant. Only 2km into town where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Good base for exploring the general area and close to canoeing and train de la Rhune."
"Couple of negatives. When I book a double room I expect to get a double bed not two singles pushed together - that's a twin room. Shower had no soapdish / shelf so nowhere to put products."

"Loved the location, close to the sea (5 min walk), not far from city centre (15min bike). We especially enjoyed the Amelie beach a bit further away. Loved the porch which enabled us to enjoy being outside even when the weather was not that good. The house and the kitchen were very well equipped, we didn't lack for anything."

"The breakfast was good with a nice selection of home made jams. The couple who run the chateau are very friendly and attentive and helpful. It was very relaxing staying there and conveniently situated for a stop over. A very interesting property with lots of history - we only stayed one night but would have liked to have stayed longer."
"Fully equipped villa with all the amenities you would need. Very spatious for a family of 4 adults and 2 children. Clean, comfortable, free parking. There are 2 outdoor swimming pools, very well maintained, which are available 24/7. The host was very kind. Will stay again for sure if we are back in the area."
