Le Domes ligger i skisportsstedet Alpe d'Huez i de franske alper, og de nærmeste skilifter ligger på den anden side af gaden. "Excellent Staff, great food, just a short walk to ski hire, ski pass sales and ski lifts. The nearest main bus route drop off to The Dome is Avenue L Etendard. Due to me incorrectly selecting the "Bergers" bus stop for my return to Grenoble, The owner took me there in his own car."

"We loved this hotel. Very independent feeling and homely. Our room was warm and cosy and nicely designed in a homely and simple way. The bathroom was fun with orange tiles and an orange painted door. The bed was comfortable. The dogs were welcome. The bathroom did everything we needed it to and was warm. (We stayed during very cold weather). Breakfast was delicious, a lovely choice and very cosy and authentic feeling."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, round the corner from the cathedral, and right in the middle of the main shopping and entertainment area. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants just round the corner. Rooms were tight, but clean and toilets and bathrooms new. The shower pressure was excellent - a special pleasure on a hot day."
