Hôtel Elysées Flaubert

"Hotellet ligger centralt i en stille gade, hvor der dog er en række butikker og restauranter, sådan at man nemt kan købe lidt lækkert eller få et godt måltid mad. Man føler sig tryg i kvarteret, og der er ikke langt til hverken bus eller metro (linje 2 og 3). Værelset havde en pæn størrelse i forhold til, hvad man ellers kan opleve i Paris. Sengen var behagelig, og morgenmaden meget lækker og rigelig. Der er både en gårdhave og en lobby med siddepladser, hvor man kan slappe af. I lobbyen er der aviser og bøger samt mulighed for at købe øl, vin, m.v. Det skønne marked i rue Poncelet er lige om hjørnet."

"Bordet på værelset var meget/for lille, og jeg savnede også en knage til min frakke. Støvsugning og aftørring af paneler og døre kunne have været udført bedre, men der var ikke så nusset, at der ikke var rart at være (linned m.v. var rent og lækkert). Badeværelset er ok, men man er nødt til at sidde på den forkerte led på toilettet, da der ellers ikke er plads til ens ben. I forhold til prisen havde jeg forventet mere med hensyn til især rengøring og ryddelighed på hotellet."

"Nice and quiet small hotel. Everything were extremely clean. The breakfast was good. Despite the noisy street down there, absolutely not any noise was audible in the room thanks to the doble window with double glass in each. I came to the hotel in the occasion of the Paris Marathon and I was very surprised that the breakfast schedule was adapted to the runners with the possibility to eat at 5 AM (!!!) instead of 8 AM usual sunday hours. Free luggage storage room is very secure."

"Perfect location for getting around Paris, just a 15-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe — a top location! The staff were extremely kind, polite, and helpful. The room was clean, as were the towels and bed linens. Breakfast was good but quite basic. Everything was very clean. Considering the price, it was definitely worth it, and I would certainly stay there again."

"The property is not brand new and in some areas it was a bit worn; for example, in the bathroom I noticed a tile that was loose and the sliding door was peeling due to humidity"

"Good service, we arrived early and the room was already available. Friendly service. I could park the car in front of the hotel to drop our luggage. Clean room and nice to have a fridge and locker."

"The room is alright for just a weekend but it is a bit small. If you have longer clothing you can not hang it anywhere because the fridge is in the wardrobe. Would have been nice if some hooks where placed to hang your coat."

"The only thing that I disliked was a staff member who lied to me. I asked for 2 hours extra at check out and the guy told me that they cannot do it because the hotel is fully booked. Then I found out from another staff member that the hotel was not fully booked on that day."

"I loved staying here. The staff are friendly and were very supportive and helpful when a taxi strike threatened to cause me to miss my early flight (which due to them and a fantastic driver, I didn’t). The hotel has an intimate atmosphere and is very clean and well located. Lots to access in the neighbourhood. There is a Michelin restaurant opposite. (I didn’t go.) The rooms are very comfortable including the bed, good lighting, blackout curtains and temperature control. There was a bath in my very nicely appointed bathroom. The light breakfast in the breakfast room is very good and there’s a small lounge area with tables in it also."

"Public transport isn’t too straightforward but easy enough with inter-changing Metro lines. There was a little noise from people moving around other rooms and the stairs, but very quiet from the street. Small detail but the breakfast room could do with some soft morning music - no one seemed to be talking because everyone could hear you munching/your conversation!"
