"The hotel is in a fabulous square resplendent with history of the Montgolfier brothers (look their story up) - however beyond the square and towards the vertical old town Google maps incompetence surpasses itself. If you enter on the mountainside - as I did - expect to be sent in the opposite direction to where you are heading. Now completely lost and having been sent (via the advice of the very nice local police) headlong into an abyss of knotted medieval streets that only they know and only just wide enough for a Fiat 500 I was lucky to meet three teenagers who together guided me through the ancient stone buildings with their solid stone spurs; if the car had been a centimetre wider - don’t try this with a Chelsea Tractor - you and your car will get stuck. Happily the hotel is quite near, and avoiding the steeps steps you can park in the place de Liberte (aptly named). The short version of this is a warning to, under NO CIRCUMSTANCEs whatsoever, rely on Google maps. The audio conflicts with visuals and more than it is usually it is worse than useless. If you arrive via the main roads the street signs are adequate so there is no need for Googlemaps at all. The hotel is worth all this unnecessary nonsense. Stick to the analogue world of real people, all of whom were very friendly - and turn off Goiglemaps."

"Very nice hotel right in the center of Annonay, it is located in a historical building with renovated rooms that still maintain a unique style. Our room had a bathtub, which was a plus, and was really clean. They have their own parking lot which you can book in advance at a good price"

"Lovely hotel in the center of Annonay. The breakfast was fresh and refilled very frequently, so that everything was present for all clients, independently from the hour of arrival. The rooms are lovely - some more than others (we tried two different ones) and the atmosphere is charming. The price is decent, both for the room and the breakfast."
"The hotel parking should be free. Considering that the public parking is free in the town, and not far from the hotel - this does come across a bit predatory and non necessary, especially seeing that it is an old, dirty garage space and nothing much more."
