"Well decorated room. Clean. Comfortable. Quirky. Windows on both sides of the room. Lovely through breeze on a warm day."

"Very basic. 5 floors with no lift. No tea or coffee making facilities but a lovely cafe across the road. Quite noisy at night and Paris wakes up early, be prepared."

"Although I arrived early, the staff were very friendly and directed me to a beautiful, shaded private garden in the fresh air to decompress from my journey. My room was beautifully decorated and simple but with all the basic comforts I needed for a work trip. The staff were easy to find and very friendly and helpful finding my way in the 6ieme. It was a great location to walk into the centre of Paris and to reach the Grand Palais for the conference I came to attend."

"The room was a little hot and I wasn't sure how to turn the heating in my room down (I turned the radiator, but didn't want to muck up the heating system) so some instructions on that would have been helpful. In an ideal world, I'd have a toilet in my own room, but it was fine to share just outside."

"This is a small, independently run hotel, full of real Parisien charm and character. My room and ensuite, both spotlessly clean, had a lovely view overlooking the hotel's private garden. I slept with the window open and there was virtually no noise - certainly you wouldn't know that you were in the centre of Paris!"

"The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of character, right in the heart of Paris! Very close to the Seine, Notre Dame and a bunch of restaurants and bars. Staff were super helpful and friendly, the receptionist even upgraded my room upon arrival! Lovely place and I had a great stay - merci!"

"Very quirky and rustic.. room was slightly cold during night and door was difficult to unlock each time. Staff helpful. Toilet was very narrow to use for a larger person but we managed!"

"Fantastic location, 20mins walk to many of the sights and pretty close to Notre Dame. Such a lovely part of town, full of small galleries, bars and boutiques. I loved it. The hotel is full of character, in a very old building, and has a garden and terrace."

"Sound insulation between rooms is very poor. Nowhere to get a hot drink."

"Central location within walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The room was suitable for two people, with a clean washroom. Our room was on the 4th floor. My daughter liked the old French character of the building. I had a hairdryer and kettle in my room, which is all I needed. An iron was available on request as well. We were in Paris, coming back for a night stay, with a warm shower, so I had a comfy sleep."

"You should be aware of whether the room has a toilet or not while booking. I made a mistake while booking.However, the manager was excellent and provided us with a room that had a toilet."
