"Fantastic location, beach front holiday village. Simple yet well-maintained holiday cottages. Beautiful well-kept grounds with lots of shade. Good offering of sports equipment for land and sea. Quiet and relaxing ambiance. Best of all is the commitment of Maxime and Roxane to friendly, uncomplicated support to all guests, so welcoming and helpful for large and small problems. Also loved the "no-waste-fridge" which meant we didn't have to throw out the lovely things we had bought but didn't manage to eat!"

"The gite was clean, well equipped and ideally situated for visiting many of the chateaux in the Loire, Cher and Indrois valleys. The gite is set in the centre of the owner's forest with their own house nearby. The location is very calm, peaceful and private, and it was easy to sleep late, especially with such a comfortable bed! Catherine and her husband Xavier and later their daughter, Hortense, who also lives close by, made us very welcome and we enjoyed an early evening aperitif with them during our stay when we were treated to the sight of a magnificent stag with huge antlers which stood proudly guarding one of the does from his harem that was feeding at the edge of our clearing. "Very big, spacious apartment with everything you need for your stay including things like oil, salt, pepper, dishwasher tablets etc. Nice quiet area and parking on the property. About a 30 minute walk to the old town/castle. Train station is very close and there is a supermarket about 5 minutes walk away."
